| The 44th episode is dedicated to Gars Of Gars, a compilation released via our sub-label Gars Records on 1 August 2025. This compilation showcases a blend of classic Detroit influences and contemporary techno, featuring artists such as BENZA, Mython, James Harbrecht, Deranged, Phase Line, Bondarük, and Lithuanian producer Y2kati. In the first half-hour, Mantas T., one of the label’s curating voices, kicks things off with an intro and a DJ set. The second half-hour is hosted by Y2kati (aka Jaroška), the compilation’s compiler. | Gars Records proudly presents the first release in our “Gars of Gars” series, celebrating classic Detroit and modern techno with a fresh, boundary-pushing approach. This dynamic compilation features breakthrough artists BENZA, Mython and James Harbrecht, alongside rising talents Deranged and Phase Line. Local Lithuanian producer y2kati join forces with international heavyweights like Bondarük, delivering a truly global sound. From the deep, organic grooves of James Harbrecht’s “Talk is Cheap” to the chaotic energy of “Steve in A Carusel”, this release is designed to ignite dancefloors and inspire DJs worldwide. A bold yet respectful nod to techno’s roots, “Gars of Gars” is set to make waves and stand the test of time. And last but not least, the entire release was mastered by the almighty Joe Farr, bringing over 25 years of industry expertise to the sound.
The LP releases on the co-curated label Gars Records, which focuses on classically modern techno. Big thanks to Povilas Baranauskis to make it look good and Joe Farr to sound it good.

Plug Trax is a Lithuanian-born techno and house producer currently based in Amsterdam. Deeply influenced by the iconic 90s Detroit techno movement, his sound combines a rhythmic, raw aesthetic with machine-driven intensity, aligning closely with Plug Trax’s authentic, undiluted techno. Known for his classic sampling approach and swing-infused grooves, producer strikes a balance between timeless underground sounds and a forward-thinking edge.
The Groovelicious EP captures Plug Trax’s signature blend of gritty drum patterns, vintage-inspired chords, and percussion-driven energy, crafted for purists of the genre. The EP features two dynamic remixes by rising talents Octavio Octavio from Argentina and Gockel from Germany who bring fresh perspectives that enhance the EP’s raw, dancefloor-ready appeal.
