VEIVERIS / DRUMSTIS EP / OUT SOON
.
Veiveris, musically being an odd one out, is an embodiment for outlandish sounds and textures. Ever-searching for peculiarities in club context has accumulated into the status quo of his creative journey which is the debut “Drumstis” EP. With its quite contemporary attitude towards sound it makes a perfect fit for the Partyzanai Plius assortment appending with distinctive rhythms and atypical sounds. Based in Vilnius, Veiveris has built up a grasp of Lithuania’s club scene outskirts and particularities and paves the way for himself by contributing music for the outsiders in Lithuania and around the globe.

“Drumstis” EP is a set of inner emotions expressed through human-like timbre synth sounds. As if the sounds would be direct expressions of human emotion, Veivers uses them to confront his subconscious and rally against the outside world, spreading unease and wit. Throughout the EP’s gloomy atmosphere, a sense of unusualness and discomfort accompanied with thunderous ambiences makes unfamiliarity a usual standard. By design broken kick drums integrate the perfect amount of chaos with wrecked order. Rationalities wither, uncertainty persists.

Big thanks to Pranza (audiomastering.lt) to make it sound good, and Tadas Karpavicius to make it look good.

EMENT/ METATONE LP / OUT NOW
.
Metatone is a tonic-containing substance used to help restore health and vitality after illnesses or when you are feeling tired. A metaphor, which perfectly describes Ement’s debut album – a mixture of peak-time electro/techno tunes spiced up with the modern traces of EBM, which perfectly fits clubs and festivals. It is a personal dancefloor experience materialization of a non-stop party rebel, who started his music production journey in the periphery and got inspired by his brother’s hard dance production experiments. After an intensive exploration of the local and foreign club scene through years of intensive djing, remixing and never-ending afterhours, Ement finalized his recent definition of dance, which launches on the new co-curated PZ Records label.

An unexpected break and a long-lasting limbus of the dancefloor consumption turned out as a perfect slot to reveal one of many underestimated Lithuanian producers, who are too shy and too critical to themselves. It’s no fiction, as “How Much Is Too Much” was already noticed and compiled by Dave Clark in his “Whitenoise” radio show.

Big thanks to Tadas Karpavicius for for the graphic design and Pranza (audiomastering.lt) for making it sound good.

BLEACH CULT REMIXES EP
.
A debut Bleach Cult album “Summertime Whiteout” – the quirky ambient pop record that fantasizes about 1960s surf culture and romanticizes the never-ending dilemmas of teen life – got seven versatile interpretations from diverse Partyzanai comrades. Ement transformed “A Coke With Hollie” into a rockabilly dancefloor sweat version, while Five Rituals duo converted the same song into a broken deconstructed club track. Sound designer Shkema took as usually a slow groove “mushroom” house approach and Zoe Zoe created an AI-based leftfield vocal version. Black Feeling transformed “Acid Shades” into a balleric dancefloor tune and Mart created a dreamy guitar-synths version of “Kenny”. Finally, Alex Krell adapts “Neon sugar” into a true rave-ish anthem. The remixes EP appears on digital on Partyzanai Pop Records and launches on the 2nd of July, 2021 at Radio Vilnius. Big thanks to Domante Nalivaikaite for the graphic design and Pranza (audiomastering.lt) for making it sound good.

PPP015 / JAROSKA / UT REMIXES TABULATOR2
A sound clash of genre-agnostic colourful “Uncharted Territories” EP finally follows-up with additional remixes. Jacques Satre from Worst Records brings his signature sound flip that makes “How Do You Called It” into Saint-Etienne’s chillout scene anthem. Five Rituals modifies “Eating Knives” into an experimental bass sound with half-time beat clocking into chugging tempo and weird Lithuanian pop figure appearing between powerful room shaking basslines. Shkema makes the most psychedelic version of “Eating Knives” so far. Phun Thomas revision got a fat acid facelift and “Thrillingly Twisted Uncharted Territories” by DJ JM is club-ready amen break dj tool revision to original. Finally, Jaroska revisits his own “Eating Knives” one more time to bring into the 80’s territory with fuzzed guitars and lyrics that tells the hard truth about most common lifestyle in our club culture. The EP appears on digital on PPP Records and launches on the 27th of November at the streaming event PPP015: Uncharted Territories Remixes Release Launch Stream in LOFTAS in Vilnius, which will be realized by Play4n4 community. Big thanks to Tadas Karpavicius for the graphic design and Pranza (audiomastering.lt) for making it sound good.

SUMMERTIME WHITEOUT LP  / PRE-ORDER NOW
.
Bleach Cult is the musical nom de plume of Vytis Puronas, singer-songwriter and film sound designer, formerly one half of lo-fi synth pop outfit Soy Farm. His music is deeply textural and direct, with a genre-bending approach that explores post-punk aesthetics, minimal wave soundscapes and intriguing hooks with a sweet retro vibe.Summertime Whiteout is a debut Bleach Cult album –  the quirky ambient pop record that fantasizes about 1960s surf culture and romanticizes the neverending dilemmas of teen life. It is all about raw imperfections and beautiful spontaneity, captured live on a modular synthesizer, often relying on single takes and instinctive executions of tracks that leave little to no room for extensive tweaking and post-processing. Recorded in the living room at night it shies away from sophistication and complexity instead employing rough, rock and roll inspired ideas. Raw drifting analog sequences, pulsating textures and polychromatic vocals. No guitars or drum machines, however. The debut Bleach Cult album will launch on the 19th of August on our sub-label Partyzanai Pop Records. First digital and only over Bandcamp, later on other chanels. Limited 150 LPs are set to be printed until 16th of October and are already open for pre-orders over Partyzanai Pop Bandcamp >>

PZPOP011 / PALMES ZIEDAS / FUTURA ALBUM
.
Briefly about the scene newcomer. Growing up in Kaunas and being strongly influenced by different cultures, Jonas started producing at his fifteenths, but his relationship with music was always on an abstract level, which made his personal work artistic, floating, with no clear purpose. The album „Futura“ was inspired by the Lithuanian electronic club music culture, particularly by strong sense of modern hedonistic life. Palmes Ziedas has always felt a weakness for mid/late twentieth-century recording style, so often his work may seem domestic, too human. But these features only emphasize the melancholy sense of nostalgia of the modernist age. The debut album “Futura” appears on digital and MC format on Partyzanai Pop Records and launches on the 18th of January at event Partyzanai Pop: Palmės Žiedas Futura Album Launch at Bar Amadeus in Vilnius. Big thanks to Pranza (audiomastering.lt) for making it sound good.

PZPOP010 / ABUNDANCE SUPREME REMIXES
.
Without Letters debut album “Abundance Supreme” comes from Lithuanian club culture, its changes, desired or actually happening and from the parties the band been to in the past couple of years. Trance inducing rhythmical structures and the sharp guitar outbursts invoke krautrock inspired blissful harmonies without offering an escape. Dark, frantic pace underlies Without Letters set, with clear intent to cut through the hierarchy of performer and the listener, to melt all that into a playful, potentially ecstatic co-participation. Finally, the selected tracks from the album got bunch of versatile remixes: wave-ish interpretation by Ement, slow groove versions by Five Rituals and Shkema, ebm version of Teatre and post-rave trance excursions by Dannie Fade and Alex Krell. The EP appears on digital format on Partyzanai Pop Records and launches on the 28th of Dezember at event Partyzanai Showcase 2019 at Kablys+Club in Vilnius. Big thanks to Tadas Karpavicius for the graphic design and Pranza (audiomastering.lt) for making it sound good.

.
A soundclash of genre-agnostic colourful sound that is melded together to create an equilibrium of unpredictable, ever-changing dance music. A complex definition of in the same way complex, versatile and standards breaking Deividas Jaroška sound, who recently could be nominated as one of the breakthrough artists in the vibrant Lithuanian underground scene. After releasing his debut “Red Room Offering” EP on Lyon’s boutique label AR/FM, Jaroška brings out his next multi-genre “Uncharted Territories” EP including remixes from Skelesys with Local Suicide, Dannie Fade, Ement, OBCDN and Alex Krell.
