PZPOP011 / PALMES ZIEDAS / FUTURA ALBUM
.
Briefly about the scene newcomer. Growing up in Kaunas and being strongly influenced by different cultures, Jonas started producing at his fifteenths, but his relationship with music was always on an abstract level, which made his personal work artistic, floating, with no clear purpose. The album „Futura“ was inspired by the Lithuanian electronic club music culture, particularly by strong sense of modern hedonistic life. Palmes Ziedas has always felt a weakness for mid/late twentieth-century recording style, so often his work may seem domestic, too human. But these features only emphasize the melancholy sense of nostalgia of the modernist age. The debut album “Futura” appears on digital and MC format on Partyzanai Pop Records and launches on the 18th of January at event Partyzanai Pop: Palmės Žiedas Futura Album Launch at Bar Amadeus in Vilnius. Big thanks to Pranza (audiomastering.lt) for making it sound good.

PZPOP010 / ABUNDANCE SUPREME REMIXES
.
Without Letters debut album “Abundance Supreme” comes from Lithuanian club culture, its changes, desired or actually happening and from the parties the band been to in the past couple of years. Trance inducing rhythmical structures and the sharp guitar outbursts invoke krautrock inspired blissful harmonies without offering an escape. Dark, frantic pace underlies Without Letters set, with clear intent to cut through the hierarchy of performer and the listener, to melt all that into a playful, potentially ecstatic co-participation. Finally, the selected tracks from the album got bunch of versatile remixes: wave-ish interpretation by Ement, slow groove versions by Five Rituals and Shkema, ebm version of Teatre and post-rave trance excursions by Dannie Fade and Alex Krell. The EP appears on digital format on Partyzanai Pop Records and launches on the 28th of Dezember at event Partyzanai Showcase 2019 at Kablys+Club in Vilnius. Big thanks to Tadas Karpavicius for the graphic design and Pranza (audiomastering.lt) for making it sound good.

ABUNDANCE SUPREME LP  / PRE-ORDER NOW
.
Over the years of brave experimentation WITHOUT LETTERS have delved into a variety musical genres from noise-rock, krautrock to footwork, trance and hard techno. By filtering out what is the most sincere and engaging in their creative process, they have since rediscovered archives of early clubbing music, its social values and sound aesthetics. That provided fissures for getting around the notion of guitar as once rebellious, now obsolete instrument, its raw immediacy more potent now than ever.Without Letters debut album ABUNDANCE SUPREME comes from Lithuanian club culture, its changes, desired or actually happening and from the parties we’ve been to in the past couple of years. It’s a manifestation of what happens despite the anxieties stemming from the ubiquitous state of abundance. Maybe ABUNDANCE SUPREME is residue from the sexual revolution that never happened in Lithuania, us being its specimen in need for transition. The album is some palpable energy, a proposition yet to be voiced, not in theory, but through our bodies. Pulsing rhythms and piercing hoovers and stabs as suggestive ways of opening up, of being together in a shared space. Suspended between all this being a pretentious farce or potentially a quite pleasant, even pleasurable.Trance inducing rhythmical structures and the sharp guitar outbursts invoke krautrock inspired blissful harmonies without offering an escape. Dark, frantic pace underlies WITHOUT LETTERS set, with clear intent to cut through the hierarchy of performer and the listener, to melt all that into a playful, potentially ecstatic co-participation.

The debut WITHOUT LETTERS album will appear  on the 24th of May on our sub-label Partyzanai Pop Records. Premiers and more info about release launch event comming soon …

GARBANOTAS /  REMIXES EP  / OUT NOW
.
Garbanotas a.k.a. Garbanotas Bosistas (The Curly One) is a Lithuanian neo-psychedelia rock and indie folk rock band which started playing in 2008. Every show of the band witnesses the miracle of dreamy neo-kraut-psychedelic flowers growing out of the amplifiers. In order to transfer bits of this miracle on the club dancefloors 6 remixes were created by present and new Partyzanai Pop artists. Konsistent, Black Feeling, Ement, Bleach Cult, Shkema and Patris took diverse approaches to the songs from the album “Room For You”. The digital Remixes EP will appear on our sublabel Partyzanai Pop Records and will be presented on the 29th of December at event Partyzanai Showcase 2018. Big thanks to Tadas Karpavicius for the graphic design and Pranza (audomastering.lt) for making it sound good.

LOCAL BLOOD /  REMIXES / OUT NOW
.
“Yet another post-punk band that is dabbling with minimalism and electronica? No, not really. Local Blood is something different, a more droned out and focused post-punk outfit from Vilnius. With concentrated, dark riffs, they take you into a whole other world then your own. It is somewhat more oriented around the instrumentation itself and less around the fact that it is post-punk – which is good – there need not be another band happily proclaiming to be post-punk because that almost always ends with a bad taste.” (according to repartiseraren.se). “Crawling Borders” and “Forest” from the Local Blood debut EP “A Lure Of Sights” were interpreted for the dancefloor by Shkema, Konsistent, KGBK and Ement.
