ĄNIS ALBUM / OUT SOON ON GARS RECORDS

Ąnis is a Lithuanian producer and DJ working in the space between broken rhythms and atmospheric weight. His tracks blur the line between club tools and introspective pieces – raw, textured, and unpolished in the best way.

 

The debut album “I Swear I’m Not Delusional” builds from late-night sketches into fully formed pressure systems. Ambient passages fall into break-driven grooves, each track shifting like a mood swing. It’s rooted in tension, repetition, and space – think the grit and movement of early Skee Mask filtered through a more personal, less polished lens. Tracks like “Mountain People” carry warmth without needing to explain themselves, while others feel like they were made at 3am with no lights on. It’s not chasing a scene – just locked into its own pulse. This isn’t background music. It asks you to sit with it – or move to it. Either way, it sticks.

 

The album will appear on digital and LP formats and releases on the co-curated label Gars Records, which focuses on classically modern techno. Big thanks to Povilas Baranauskis to make it look good and audiomastering.lt to sound it good.

PZ BROADCAST #45 / GARS RECORDS SPECIAL  
.
The 45th episode is dedicated to Kipronno’s Voyager Remixes EP, released via our sub-label Gars Records on 17 October 2025. This release is not only a reimagination of Kipronno’s original work but also a statement: techno rooted in tradition, yet always reaching forward. It showcases fresh names from our movement who carry the spirit of the underground into the future. In the first hour, y2kati (aka Jaroška), one of the label’s curatorial voices, kicks things off with a short interview with the EP’s author, Kipronno, and later delivers a back-to-back DJ set. The second hour is hosted by CMRK, one of the EP’s remixers.

KIPRONNO VOYAGER REMIXES EP  
.
Gars Records returns with an intention to connect underground talent with dance-floors worldwide. The latest chapter sees four unique perspectives reimagining Kipronno’s “Voyager” EP – a modern and emotional take on sentimental techno.

 

CMRK delivers a nocturnal peak-time weapon, Phase Line builds hypnotic tension through groove, y2kati sculpts silk-smooth sub frequencies with signature stab modulation and Rolo adds a UK techno flavour for sunrise or opening moments. Together, the remixes honor the roots of techno while pushing its sound into a forward-thinking future.

The 44th episode is dedicated to Gars Of Gars, a compilation released via our sub-label Gars Records on 1 August 2025. This compilation showcases a blend of classic Detroit influences and contemporary techno, featuring artists such as BENZA, Mython, James Harbrecht, Deranged, Phase Line, Bondarük, and Lithuanian producer Y2kati. In the first half-hour, Mantas T., one of the label’s curating voices, kicks things off with an intro and a DJ set. The second half-hour is hosted by Y2kati (aka Jaroška), the compilation’s compiler. Gars Records proudly presents the first release in our “Gars of Gars” series, celebrating classic Detroit and modern techno with a fresh, boundary-pushing approach. This dynamic compilation features breakthrough artists BENZA, Mython and James Harbrecht, alongside rising talents Deranged and Phase Line. Local Lithuanian producer y2kati join forces with international heavyweights like Bondarük, delivering a truly global sound. From the deep, organic grooves of James Harbrecht’s “Talk is Cheap” to the chaotic energy of “Steve in A Carusel”, this release is designed to ignite dancefloors and inspire DJs worldwide. A bold yet respectful nod to techno’s roots, “Gars of Gars” is set to make waves and stand the test of time. And last but not least, the entire release was mastered by the almighty Joe Farr, bringing over 25 years of industry expertise to the sound.

PLUG TRAX / GROOVELICIOUS EP / GARS RECORDS

Plug Trax is a Lithuanian-born techno and house producer currently based in Amsterdam. Deeply influenced by the iconic 90s Detroit techno movement, his sound combines a rhythmic, raw aesthetic with machine-driven intensity, aligning closely with Plug Trax’s authentic, undiluted techno. Known for his classic sampling approach and swing-infused grooves, producer strikes a balance between timeless underground sounds and a forward-thinking edge.

 

The Groovelicious EP captures Plug Trax’s signature blend of gritty drum patterns, vintage-inspired chords, and percussion-driven energy, crafted for purists of the genre. The EP features two dynamic remixes by rising talents Octavio Octavio from Argentina and Gockel from Germany who bring fresh perspectives that enhance the EP’s raw, dancefloor-ready appeal.
